Talley Family Pictures!

Posted by Eloise Smith

On Thanksgiving my family decided to head out in the nice stormy weather and take a few family pictures. It made for a nice intro into a great day. We had a very small window to snap a few pics before it started to rain too hard to keep going. We had tons of fun! And some of the snapshots are just as good as the posed pictures!

Photography!!

Cody and I recently purchased a new dSLR camera to help us capture the precious moments of Joshua growing up. I have always loved taking pictures. I get that from my mom who is an avid picture taker. But I have also loved photography for a long time. I've taken a photography class, and messed around a little but I never had a camera good enough to capture the pictures I wanted to. So now that we have a camera that is capable of doing just that, it's my new "project" to learn the true art of photography. So I took a half hour yesterday and took a few pictures of Josh. It was so much fun! So please let me know what you think. I love constructive criticism! I can only help me get better. I am having tons of fun learning and growing in what I hope to one day be a polished talent. :) I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Our's was wonderful! Lots of good food and great company!

Apple Annie's in Willcox

We had a GREAT time at Apple Annies. I have gone there with my family as long as I can remember. It was a really cool experience to take my own son there for the first time. :)

What October!?!?

Cody and I were talking the other night and realized that we are already half way through November! What happened to October? It seems like Joshua was just born and he is already 3 months. He is growing so fast. We measured him for his height for his 3 month birthday and he grew another inch. He's up to 25 inches now. It's amazing how quickly they grow and change. He is "talking" so much. And he loves music and believe it or not tries to sing along. It's quite funny. We FINALLY found a formula that seems to be working so far. We are so relieved that we were able to find something that works for him.

We had a lot of fun in October and that must be why it flew by. We went to an all school reunion in Safford, Apple Annie's pumpkin patch, Agua Linda Farm pumpkin patch, had a great Halloween, and our annual (let's hope we can keep it up) Halloween party. So many fun and exciting memories. We love being a family of three and can't wait for the next few hollidays.

Our Family Blog

So Cody and I finally gave in and have decided that a blog would be the easiest way to keep everyone updated on our lives, Joshua, and what we've been up to as a family. Hopefully we'll be able to keep it up to date and lots of fun for everyone to look at. Lots of Joshua can be expected as he is growing and changing so quickly! Cody and I have enjoyed our last 2 years together and love being a family of 3!! I look forward to sharing our love and happiness with everyone!
